## Discrepancy

AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT START.  WHEN PILOT ENGAGED STARTER THE STARTER WOULD SPIN BUT NOT TURN THE ENGINE.  ON INSPECTION NOTED THE SPLINES BETWEEN THE DRIVESHAFT AND ARMATURE WERE COMPLETELY ERODED.
