## Discrepancy

LIFE RAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE AIRCRAFT TO BE USED FOR AN FAA TRAINING EVENT. WHEN THE CREWMEMBER PULLED THE HANDLE TO ACTIVATE PER INSTRUCTIONS, RAFT DID NOT INFLATE. PRESSURE GAUGE STILL SHOWED FULL PRESSURE. WORKING WITH COLLINS/WINSLOW WE WERE GIVEN A SAFETY PIN FOR SHIPPING, BUT IT DID NOT GO INTO THE SAFETY PIN HOLE. THEY STATED THE PISTON TRIGGERED BUT GAS HAD NOT BEEN DISCHARGED AND SENT US TOOLING TO DISCHARGE BOTTLE AND WE WILL BE SENDING RAFT TO THEM FOR INVESTIGATION.
