## Discrepancy

PILOT REPORTED DEAD MAGNETO IN RT POSITION.  REMOVED RT MAGNETO FROM ENGINE.  FOUND COIL SHAFT SEVERED AT CAM LIFTER LOBE POSITION.  SUSPECT SOME METALLURGICAL DEFECT IN SHAFT.  REPLACED MAGNETO WITH NEW.  FUNCTIONALLY CHECKED GOOD.
