23 Federal Aviation

Installation of Airwolf Filter Corp. Model AFC-K006 remote mounted oil filter kit incorporating Airwolf Filter Corp. P/N AFC-500 replacement oil filter in accordance with Installation Drawing List AFC-P001 dated April 2, 1993 and Installation Instructions AFC-K006-II dated April 1, 1993.

1. Installation is limited to Piper PA-18 series airplanes with Lycoming Engine Models O-235 series, O-290 series, O-320 series, & O-360 series engines or Continental C85 and C90 series engines.

2. Firewall must be minimum 0.021 in ASTM A527 galvanized steel or equivalent with this installation.

3. This approval should not be extended to aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in the type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. A copy of this certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
