1. Installation and fabrication of the Front Fuel Feeder Tank and Fuel Transfer Modification must be done in accordance with Aerotech Industries Limited Master Drawing List VIA-FT-001, Revision C, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved November 10, 2022, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. Operation must be done in accordance with Aerotech Industries Limited Flight Manual Supplement 556- FMS-001, Revision A, TCCA approved October 28, 2022, or later TCCA approved revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Description of Type Design Change (continued):

3. Maintenance and Inspection must be done in accordance with Aerotech Industries Limited Maintenance Manual Supplement VIA-FS-MMS, Revision B, TCCA accepted November 10, 2022, or later TCCA accepted revision.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

4. FAA STC # SA3777NM, for the installation of Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34, -135 or -135A Turbine Engine with Hartzell Propeller, is required for this modification.

5. Operate in accordance with the "Operating Limits" section of the TCCA approved Flight Manual Supplement, 556-FMS-001, as listed in the Description of Type Design Change section of this STC for this modification.

Certification Basis:

Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified De Havilland DHC-3 is as follows

a. The type certification basis for the De Havilland DHC-3 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) A-815 for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the De Havilland DHC-3 for parts changed or affected by the change is TCDS A-815 with the following exceptions:

• 14 CFR §§ 23.967; 23.971; 23.999 and 23.1523 at Amendment 23-0

• 14 CFR § 23.1301 at Amendment 23-14 (Certification Basis Continued on Page 4 of 4) 3 4
