Installation of Avidyne Corporation Part Number 700-00167-XXX Multi-Function Display and Mounting Tray Assembly Part Number 700-00168-XXX in accordance with Avidyne Corporation Master Document List, Document No. AVMFD-506, Revision 00, dated December 2, 2009, or later FAA-approved revisions.

1. The MFD integrates with separately approved system installations. Adherence to the limitations in the appropriate Aircraft Flight Manual Supplements for those systems is mandatory.

2. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Avidyne Corporation Document AVMFD-083, Revision 10, dated October 20, 2009 or later FAA accepted revision shall be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

3. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

1. Introduction This document is the FAA Approved Model List for the installation of the Avidyne 700-00167-XXX EX600 Multi-Function Display into eligible aircraft.

Revisions to the AML must be coordinated through the STC holder, and require FAA approval.

IMPORTANT NOTICE This STC is only applicable to the 14 CFR Part 23 (Class I, II and III as defined in AC 23.1309-1D) aircraft which are listed in this AML.

Installations in 14 CFR Part 23 Class IV, Part 25, Part 27 and Part 29 aircraft are not authorized under this STC.

IMPORTANT NOTICE When installed in 14 CFR Part 23 Class III airplanes (Typically SRE, STE, MRE, and MTE equal or over 6,000 pounds) , if the EX600 replaces a Radar display, an independent lightning detection and display system complying with TSO-C110a must be installed for operations in IMC, and an FAA- approved Flight Manual Supplement is required and must be carried aboard the aircraft during all flights.

When installed in 14 CFR Part 23 Airplanes that require a type rating, an FAA-approved Flight Manual Supplement, Document 600-00246-000 Rev 00 or later FAA-approved revision, must be carried aboard the aircraft during all flights.

IMPORTANT NOTICE For 14 CFR Part 23 Class III airplanes (Typically SRE, STE, MRE, and MTE equal or over 6,000 pounds) and/or airplanes that require a type rating the approach plates, arrival procedures, and departure procedures depicted in the Charts function on the EX600 may not be used as primary means for IFR navigation. Another appropriate source must be used.
