1. Operation of the SR20 must be in accordance with the Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Whelen Document 11934-S56, Original Issue or later FAA approved revision. The AFMS must be carried in the aircraft during all flights.

2. Operation of the SR22 and SR22T must be in accordance with the AFMS, Whelen Document 13772-158, Original Issue or later FAA approved revision. The AFMS must be carried in the aircraft during all flights.

3. Maintenance for this modification to the SR20 must be in accordance with the instructions in Whelen document 20_IICAW_ST02044BO-A dated December 1, 2016. The instructions in 20_IICAW_ST02044BO-A dated December 1, 2016 must be incorporated into the Cirrus Aircraft Maintenance Manual for the SR20.

4. Maintenance for this modification to the SR22 and SR22T must be in accordance with the instructions in Whelen document 22_IICAW_ST02044BO-A dated December 1, 2016. The instructions in 22_IICAW_ST02044BO-A dated December 1, 2016 must be incorporated into the Cirrus Aircraft Maintenance Manual for the SR22 / SR22T.

5. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and § 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Make Model aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for parts not changed or not affected by the change is shown on the applicable TCDS.

b. The modification certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change is shown on the applicable TCDS.
