Original Product -Type Certificate Number: A-754 Make: Interstate Arctic Model: S-1B1 Interstate S-IBI Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a vortex generators on the wing leading edge, and the horizontal stabilizer in accordance with Terrance A. Dolan report dated September 30, 1998.

NOTE: If more than five vortex generators are damaged or missing, this aircraft is not airworthy.

Limitations and Conditions: Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to the modification of Interstate Model S-1B1 airplane, Serial Number 203, Registration Number NC49105. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
