2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of the permission.

3. The FAA has not certified the installation of equipment for which these provisions are intended. You must get additional FAA approval to install any equipment in the pod.

The FAA must evaluate the installation to ensure it complies with the applicable airworthiness standards. Contact the STC holder for further information on future payload design limits and details.

4. Flight into known icing conditions is prohibited when the RF transparent pod is installed under this STC.

5. Installation of the transparent pod, under this STC is limited to aircraft equipped with the Garmin G1000 avionics system and a TKS Ice Protection System.

6. Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) SA02080AK-D must be installed as a prerequisite for this STC Installation.

7. Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model of airplane only, with an existing cargo/baggage pod installed.

Certification Basis:

It was determined that there is no acoustical change in accordance with § 21.93(b)(3)

(iii) as a result of this modification.

Based on 14 CFR Part 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Cessna Model 208B replacement pod installation is as follows:

a) The type certification basis for Cessna 208B is shown on A37CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of the application, 07/22/2014, is based upon part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62. Based on 14 CFR § 21.115 and §21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in the FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this modification was determined to be:
