The KLN 89 and 89B GPS have been evaluated as a navigation input source for the KMD 150 Multi-Function Display and found to be compatible; the interface of these systems is approved. 3. The KMD 150 GPS has been evaluated for use under IFR when interfaced to an IFR qualified KLN 89B. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
