Effective September 28, 2003, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) began oversight of this modification on behalf of Luftfahrt-Bundesamt.

Data Required: (1) Installation instructions E-448E with an FAA approval date of November 30, 2000; and (2) FAA Approved Supplemental Airplane Flight Manual E-447E-1 or E-449E-1 or Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH) and FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS) E-449E-2 (as appropriate) dated November 30, 2000; or later FAA approved revisions to (1) or (2).

Limitations and Conditions: Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
