Description of the Type Design Change: Install a Lycoming O-360-A4M engine and McCauley 1A200/FA propeller per W. N. Gough Installation Instructions No. 101, dated August 11, 2002.

Limitations and Conditions: Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval for change in type design is limited to the modification of Piper PA-18, Serial Number 12-2582, only. A copy of this Certificate and FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, dated December 23, 2002, must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

The airplane shall be registered in the Normal Category.

The engine is limited to 2540 RPM (150) hp for all operations.

This certificate and the supporting data which is the ba sis for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked, or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
