Original Product -Type Certificate Number: 5A6 Make: Cessna Model: 180 Series Description of Type Design Change: Installation of ARNAV Systems RCOM-100 Globalstar Satellite Telephone per ARNAV Systems, Inc., RCOM-100 Installation Guide, Part Number 570-8050B, dated November 27, 2002, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to aircraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this certificate shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement ARNAV Systems Inc. document No. 570-8051A, January 17, 2003, is a required part of this STC. A copy of this Certificate and FAA approved Flight Manual Supplement must be maintained as part of the permanent record for the modified aircraft.
