Description Of Type Design Change: Installation of a Ballistic Protection System (BPS) in accordance with FAA Approved Master Drawing List for the Ballistic Protection System Installation in the Cessna Caravan 208 Series Aircraft, MDL-840-00, Revision B, dated May 22, 2008 or later FAA approved revision. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. EGR-840-11, dated May 28, 2008, or later FAA approved revision is required as part of this installation. Limitations and Conditions: The installation should not be incorporated in any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. The approval of this modification applies to the above noted airplane model series only. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft.
