Description of Type Design Change: Fabrication and installation of a replacement forward fuselage tubular frame in accordance with Master Drawing List No. AFBB1 Dated 11/04/2005, and maintenance of the airplane modified by the installation of the replacement frame in accordance with “Removal & Installation and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness for Kenmore Forward Tubular Frame on a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver”, Revision A dated October 20, 2005.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. Airplane must be maintained in accordance with the limitations reflected in “Removal & Installation and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness for Kenmore Forward Tubular Frame on a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver”, Revision A dated October 20, 2005.

3. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4. This design change may be incorporated on surplus military Models L-20A, YL-20, and U-6A when the airplane has been converted to Model DHC-2 Mk. I in accordance with the requirements listed in Aircraft Specification No. A-806.
