(1) Master Data List (MDL) 89800019-112. Rev IR, dated 7/13/2020, or later FAA approved revision.

(2) Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) 89800019-111, Rev A, dated 7/13/2020, or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA and its contents must be incorporated into the operator's maintenance program. See continuation sheet 3 through 3.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Make and Models listed on AML No. 89800019-110.

4. Prior FAA approved installation of a KFC 200 Flight Control System as specified by AML No. 89900019-110 is a prerequisite to this STC.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the FAA Approved Model List (AML) No.

89800019-110 is as follows:

(1) The type certification basis for all Models included in AML No. 89800019-110 is included in the applicable TCDS as listed in the FAA approved AML for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

(2) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application March 13, 2020, is based upon Title 14 CFR Part 23 as amended by Amendment 23-62 with the exception of those above amendment 23-62 listed below.

2. Introduction:

This document is the FAA Approved Model List for STC No. SA04195NY, for KFC 230 AeroCruze™ Automatic Flight Control System (FCS) Upgrade from KFC 200 FCS installation into eligible aircraft.

Revisions to the AML must be coordinated between the STC holder and the responsible ACO, or the STC Organization Designation Authorization for FAA approval.

Important Notes:

This STC is only applicable to the 14 CFR, part 23, Class I, II & III aircraft, as defined in Advisory Circular AC 23.1309-1C, and which are listed in this AML. Installations in 14 CFR, part 23 Class IV, part 25, part 27 and part 29 aircraft are not authorized under this STC.

This STC presumes that Bendixking KFC 200 Flight Control System is already installed on each airplane eligible for this proposed modification. This approval requires data input from an FAA approved ADHRS unit and GPS sensor into the KFC 230 Aerocruze AFCS.
