2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Doc. No. E-2997, Rev. 1, dated August 24, 2020 or later EASA accepted revisions.

3. Operation must be in accordance with Airplane Flight Manual Supplement Doc. No.

E-2995, Rev. 3, dated October 27, 2021 or later EASA approved revisions.

Limitations and Conditions: (continued from page 1)

2. PA-60-600, PA-60-601, PA-60-601P, and PA-60-602P aircraft models equipped with Lycoming IO-540 engines must be modified with FAA STC No. SE1657NM as a prerequisite in addition to FAA STC No. SA1658NM.

3. The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the "Limitations" section of the Airplane Flight Manual Supplement referenced in item 3 under the description of type design change section of this STC.

4. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for Aerostar Aircraft Corporation PA-60-600, PA-60-601, PA-60-601P, PA-60-602P, and PA-60-700P aircraft.

5. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

6. If the holder agrees to permit a person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give this person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

The certification basis for this modification is based upon Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 23 as specified in Type Certificate Data Sheet A17WE, with the following exception:

• Compliance with 14 CFR Part 36 at Amendment 36-30.
