(2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

(3) Installation of STC SA10688SC-D is a prerequisite for this STC.

(4) The FAA certification does not connote FAA endorsement of the deployment of anti -missile pyrotechnic devices (flares) or the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a missile threat.

(5) The mission equipment for which these provisions are intended has not been certified. Additional FAA approval is required for the installation of this equipment and must be evaluated to assure satisfactory compliance with the applicable airworthiness standards.

(6) Refer to STC Configuration Management Document, G10749.28.52 Revision – dated 23 June 2020, or later FAA- approved revision, for FAA-approved configurations certified by this STC.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Textron Aviation, Inc. B300 aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Textron Aviation, Inc. B300 series airplanes is shown on TCDS A24CE for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, 4 May 2010, is as follows:
