Installation of STC SA02332LA is a prerequisite for this STC. 5. Laser operation is not FAA approved for civil operations. The laser is electrically disabled. 6. Loading or dispensing of flares is not FAA approved for civil operations. The FAA certification does not connote FAA endorsement of the deployment of anti-missile pyrotechnic devices (flares) or the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a missile threat. 7. The FAA has not certified the Self-Protect System and certain ISR equipment for which the provisions are intended. You must get additional FAA approval to install this equipment. 8.
