Introduction

This document is the FAA Approved Model List (AML) for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) Number SA11300DS for an upgrade to previously installed Collins Aerospace radio altimeters on several Part 23 eligible aircraft.

Revisions to the AML must be coordinated between the STC holder and the responsible ODA/ ACO and require FAA approval.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

This STC assumes the following equipment is already installed on each airplane eligible for the proposed modification:

• Previously installed Collins Aerospace radio altimeter ALT-55B, ALT-1000 or ALT- 4000.

MODEL SPECIFIC LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS (Continued from sheet 1 of the certificate):

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

The certification basis for each model qualified for this modification is detailed below.

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the AML modification of an upgrade to previously installed Collins Aerospace radio altimeters on several Part 23 eligible aircraft is as follows:
