LIMITATION OF APPLICABILITY: The approval of this change in Type Design applies basically to Model I-1049H only. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the inter-relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that airplane.

Tanks 1, and 3 may be filled with liquid to a maximum of 12,378 lbs. each.

Tank No.4 is limited to a maximum of 7378 pounds of liquid.

Certifications Basis: CAR 4b as amended to October 1, 1949.
