Installation of the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH MTV-12-B/180-59() propeller on the Mooney International Corporation M20A, M20B, M20C, and M20D aircraft must be done in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Master Documentation List (MDL), Doc. # E-4154 Revision 4, dated April 27, 2026, or later European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accepted revsions, and the Installation Instructions, Doc # E-4157, Revision 2, dated April 27, 2026, or later EASA accepted revisions.

1. This Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

Description of Type Design Change (continued):

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. # E-4158, Revision 2, dated April 14, 2026, or later EASA accepted revisions.

3. Operations must be in accordance with the MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH Supplement Airplane Flight Manual, # E-4156, Revision 0, dated May 26, 2025, or later EASA approved revisions.

2. The aircraft must be operated in accordance with the Limitations section of the Supplement Airplane Flight Manual referenced in the Description section.

3. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification Basis:

Based on Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Mooney International Corporation M20A, M20B, M20C, and M20D is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Mooney International Corporation M20A, M20B, M20C, and M20D is as shown on Type Certification Data Sheet (TCDS) 2A3 for areas not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The type certification basis for the Mooney International Corporation M20A, M20B, M20C, and M20D for areas changed or affected by the change is as shown on TCDS 2A3 with the following exceptions:

• 14 CFR Part 36 at Amendment 36-32.
