Original Product - Type Certificate Number: *: А-669 Make: McDonnell Douglas Model: DC-3C-S103G (Normal/Restricted) Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a winch and battery system in accordance with SALAIR, Inc. photos (1) through (3), and SALAIR, Inc. Installation Instructions to SA1496NM. This modification also includes the installation of 2024T-3 aluminum angles to prevent inadvertent opening of the rear door during sky diving operations in accordance with photo (4).

Limitations and Conditions: Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval is limited to the installation in McDonnell Douglas, Model DC-3C-S1C3G, Serial Number 6085 only.

A copy of this Certificate, SALAIR, Inc. Installation Instructions to SA1496NM, and Operation Limitations shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

This certificate and the supporting data which is the basis for approval shall remain in effect until sur rendered, suspended, versked, or a tormination date is therwise established by the Ildministrator of the Federal Aviation Administration Date of Application: March 23, 1982 Date Reissued:
