A321-211 Description of Type Design Change:

Installation of Verizon Airfone Inflight Telecommunications System in accordance with Verizon Airfone STC Documentation Checklist AFD70-0016-00, Rev. 13, dated April 3, 2002, or later FAA approved revision.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. GTE Airfone Airplane Maintenance Manual Supplement, dated July 8, 1997, or later FAA approved revision, is a required part of this modification for A319 and A320 Models.

3. Verizon Airfone Instructions for Continued Airworthiness Supplement ICA-2130, dated March 4, 2002, and FAA approved April 4, 2002, or later FAA approved revision, is required for this modification for A321 Models.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
