727-22 S/N 18857 only Description of Type Design Change : Installation of Hughes Pictorial Navigation Director in accordance with the drawings listed in FAA approved Appendix “C” of United’s Engineering Report F-1317 “Installation Information, 727, Hughes Navigation Director” and th e FAA Approved United Air Lines’ Airplane Flight Manual Supplement dated November 22, 1968 or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Data not suitable for reproduction of installation in other aircraft; therefore, it is satisfactory for Boeing 727-22 Airplane N7050U (Serial Number 18857) only. No additional modifications of this type are to be approved solely by reference to this Supplemental Type Certificate or to the data submitted therefor.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
