The updated NCU is software and hardware compatible to that curently installed. This alteration is to be made in accordance with FAA data list CL-601-1, dated 8/25/97, or later approved revisions.

: The following Flight Manual Supplement is required:

FAA Approved Flight Manual Supplement for Canadair CL-600-2B16 (CL-601- 3R) Aircraft with Parker/Gull Navigation Computer Unit (NCU) part number 367-049-007 installed, dated 8/25/97, or later approved revisions.

Compatibility of this alteration with other approved alterations must be determined by the installer.
