(Effective December 31, 1953) Original Product Type Certificate Number: A5EU Make : British Aerospace Corporation Model : 1-11, Series 401AK Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Collins Model EFIS 85a, 4 Tube Electronic Flight Instrument System and dual Collins Model FD-109 Flight Director System in accordance with FAA sealed Tracor Aviation Index List IL-213-001, Revision B dated October 30, 1984 or later FAA sealed revision.

FAA approved Tracor Aviation Airplane Flight Manual Supplement required for this installation is listed on the sealed Tracor Aviation Index List.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type design applies basically to the above listed BAC1-11 Model only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this m odel on which other previously approved modifications are inco rporated unless it is determined by the installer tha t the in terrelationship between this change and any of thos e previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

This certificate and the supporting data, which is the basis for approval, shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
