A20WE Boeing 747-100 Series Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Goodyear Aerospace Corporation Lower Baggage Container, P/N 625A100-001-103 in accordance with Boeing Weight and Balance Control Manual D6- 13700 instructions, and FAA Approved Goodyear Drawing Lists 625A100-001 and 625A100-501.

Baggage containers in kit form shall be assembled in accordance with G.A.C. Assembly Instructions GER15654, dated July 5, 1972, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this change in type design applies basically to model 747- 100 aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any other of those previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. This determination should include consideration of significant change in weight distribution such as an increase in the fixed disposable weight in the fuselage. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of permission.
