Original Product - Type bertificate Lumber: 1A6 Make: Piper Mirtel: PA-22 Description of Type Design Change: in accordance with Ned A. Pointer photos (1) thru (4). Also, installation of Installation of squared off rectangular wing tips Hoskins Model 700-801 Anticollision Strobe Light System on top of rudder on hinge line in accordance with Symbolic Displays, Inc., Installation Instruction dated December 22, 1972.

Limitations and Conditions: The Strobe installation will require that the top of the wing lift struts and aft face of the propeller be painted dull black. Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication on other aircraft. This approval is limited to the installation in Piper PA-22, Serial Number 22-60 only. A copy of this Certificate with the Ned A. Pointer FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
