Original Product Type Certificate Number AGWE Make: McDonnell Douglas Model: DC-9-83 (MD-83) Description of Type Design Change: Moditication of DC-9 (MD-83) aircraft in accordance with Tracor Aviation, Inc. Index List IL-224-001, , Modification - FAA Certification of CAA DC-9-83 (MD-83), S/N 49398," Rev. N/C, dated 2/15/90, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be incorporated on any certificated product of this model on which other approved modifications are incorporated, unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this change and any of those previously incorporated modifications will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the certificated product. A copy of this STC must be included in the permanent records of the modified aircraft. The limitations and conditions of this reconfiguration are the same as the original FAA approved DC-9-83 (MD-83) and AFM MDC-J-8480. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
