Original Product Type Certificate Number: A20WE Make : Boeing Model : 747SP Description of Type Design Change: Installation of a Dual Auxiliary Power Unit System (APU) and a Self Defense System (SDS) in accordance with Raytheon E-Systems Sealed Drawing List SDL 6211-2, Rev. B dated 24 January 1997 or later FAA approved data. Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, dated 24 July 1991 or later FAA approved revision is required. Amendment 1 incorporated improvements to the Self Defense System.

1. Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. When installed, airplanes with this STC are limited to operations excluding those of an Air Carrier. Specifically, no operations under 14 CFR 121, 14 CFR 129 or any foreign Air Carrier are permitted.
