United States of America Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Supplemental Type Certificate Number: SA5112NM This certificate issued to: Simplex Manufacturing Company 13340 NE Whitaker Way Portland, Oregon 97233 Certifies that the change in the type design for the following product with the limilations and conditions therefor as specifed hereon meets the airvorthiness requirement's of Part 8 of the iVIT Air Regulations: effective October 11, 1950 Original Product -Type bertificate Number: 1A16 Make: Grumman American Aviation Corporation Model: G-164, G-164A, G-164B, G-164C, G-1640 Description of Type Design Change: Install dry applicator system, Simplex model 8600, in accordance with Simplex Manufacturing Company Master Drawing List P/N 8600, Revision C of January 14, 1991, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to other aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved moditications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
