Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Hoskins Supplemental Model A, B, E High Intensity Wing Tip Lights, Model C Tail Light, with or without Model 2 High Intensity Fuselage Light.

Data required: (1) General Installation Instructions as amended May 1, 1962; (2) Hoskins Drawings No. 20- 1, 20-2, 21-2, 22-1B, 28-2 and SW-1; (3) Hoskins Specification Sheet (3 sheets) for Lockheed PV-1 (Ventura) aircraft; and (4) Howard Aero drawing No. 5-102260, Rev E, sheet 2.

Limitations and Conditions: LIMITATION OF APPLICABILITY. The approval of this change in type design applied basically to aircraft models listed above only. This approval should not be extended to other specific airplanes of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft.
