Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Lindstrand Balloons Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Cameron Balloons US Basket Model CB860, S/N 9598, the Thunder & Colt Burner Model Colt Mk III Triple with Liquid Fire, S/N 2400, and the UltraMagic S.A. type M-40 fuel tanks, S/Ns 40, 55, 57, and 58. The Cameron Balloons US Basket is installed via the standard Lindstrand Balloons carabiner (snaplink) attachments.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement, dated November 26, 2006, or later FAA approved revisions required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Lindstrand Balloons (Envelope), Cameron Balloons US (Basket), Thunder & Colt (Burner), and UltraMagic, S.A. (Fuel Tanks).

3. Descriptive data pertaining to this design change are considered inadequate for duplication in other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Lindstrand Balloons USA Model 240A, S/N 5347, only. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
