Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the FireFly (Balloon Works) Basket Model 4.9A1, S/N 528 the FireFly (Balloon Works) Burner Model F1, S/N 815; and FireFly (Balloon Works) fuel tanks, P/N 3035, S/Ns 76908J, and 23931J, and/or FireFly (Balloon Works) fuel tanks, P/N 3035-2, S/N G182042, and/or FireFly (Balloon Works) fuel tanks, P/N 3229-2, S/N G182034. The Balloonworks (FireFly) Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated August 29, 2011.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated August 29, 2011, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope) and FireFly (Balloon Works) (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks) 3. Descriptive data pertaining to this design change are considered inadequate for duplication in other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB30Z, Serial No. 864.
