Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the FireFly (Balloon Works) Basket Model 4.9A1, S/N 299; the FireFly (Balloon Works) Burner Model F1, S/N 120; and FireFly (Balloon Works) fuel tanks, P/N 3035, S/Ns 76908J, and 23931J, and/or FireFly (Balloon Works/Worthington) 10 gallon fuel tanks, S/Ns 67919J, 72267J, 72202J, 16988T, and/or 04074J. The Balloonworks (FireFly) Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated December 15, 2011.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated December 15, 2011, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope) and FireFly (Balloon Works) (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB30Z, Serial No. 871.

This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
