Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the Avian Balloon Basket S/N 1-160; the Avian Balloon Burner S/Ns 23-160-1 and 23-160-2; and Avian Balloon fuel tanks S/Ns 90C122, 90C111, and 90C125. The Avian Balloon Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated February 13, 2013.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated February 13, 2013, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope) and Avian Balloon (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB42Z, Serial No. 982. This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations
