Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system with the Thunder & Colt Basket P/N 6087, S/N 1519US; Thunder & Colt Burner P/N Stratus, S/Ns 0599 and 0561. Replace the Balony Kubicek fuel tanks with the Thunder and Colt P/N V30 fuel tanks, S/Ns V30-1633, V30-1150, V30-1219, and V30-1398. The Cameron Balloons Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments in accordance with Balony Kubicek Drawing No.

STC-04, dated April 8, 2010.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated March xx, 2013, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope), and Thunder and Colt (Basket, Burner, and Fuel Tanks). 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB51Z, Serial No. 970.

This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations.
