Description of Type Design Change: Replace the Balony Kubicek Basket/Burner system and fuel tanks with the FireFly (Balloon Works) Basket Model 5.9, S/N 117-S the FireFly (Balloon Works) Burner Model T3-017, S/N 726, and Model F1 Mirage, S/N 190; and FireFly (Balloon Works) fuel tanks, P/N 3035 (S/Ns 11500J, 14028J, 33239J, and 33284J), P/N 3035-1 (S/Ns 43496J, 45854J, and 45876J), P/N 3229 (S/N 19208J), P/N 3229-1 (S/Ns 21215J and 69671J), and P/N 3258 (S/N 16148J). The Balloon Works (FireFly) Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Balony Kubicek carabiner (snaplink) attachments as specified in the FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated February 3, 2016.

1. FAA Approved Balloon Flight Manual Supplement dated February 3, 2016, is required. 2. This modified balloon is to be maintained in accordance with the latest revision of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) from Balony Kubicek (Envelope) and FireFly (Balloon Works) (Basket, Burner, Fuel Tanks) 3. You cannot use descriptive data about this design change to duplicate other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Balony Kubicek Model BB51Z, Serial No. 958.

This STC does not permit manufacturing of parts for multiple installations
