Original Product⎯Type Certificate Number: 1E10 Make: Lycoming Model: IO-360-B1G6

Description of the Type Design Change: Support Assembly replacement: Removes the existing Support Assembly – Starter Ring Gear, and existing alternator, then replaces the support assembly with a new one, according to American Blimp Corporation (ABC) Master Drawing List (MDL) FW-ABC511-90, Revision B, dated July 21, 2009, or later FAA-approved revision. The purpose of this change is to modify the above engine to drive two alternators for use on the ABC A-1 series airships.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above engine model only.

The modified engine is only eligible for installation on the ABC A-1 series airship per Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) SO0002SE. This approval should not be extended to other engines of this model series unless the installer determines that the relationship between this change and any other previously incorporated approved modifications will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that engine. A copy of this Certificate (and the Airplane Flight Manual Supplement) must be maintained as part of the permanent records of the modified engine.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
