NOTE: This engine modification is limited to installation only in the Beechcraft Models A36TC and B36TC airplanes modified in accordance with STC SA3654NM.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the above model aircraft only. This approval should not be extended to aircraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any of those other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. A copy of this Certificate and Addendum must be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

APPLICABILITY OF THE TYPE DESIGN CHANGE Merlyn Products, Inc., Spokane, Washington, has developed an induction air intercooler system in kit form. Merlyn Products, Inc., Induction Air Intercooler System Installation Instructions, Report No. 14-1, provides the Parts List of this kit.

The following Teledyne Continental engine model is eligible for the installation of Merlyn Products, Inc., intercooler system:

Engine Type Cert. Cert. Basis Model No - Regulation Effective Date Amendments TSIO-520-UB ESCE CAR 13 June 15, 1956 1 thru 6 Limitations and Conditions: shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet No. ESCE for the Teledyne Continental Model TSIO-520-UB engine remain applicable.

Engine Data Plate:

The letters "MP" must be stamped on the engine data plate after the engine model number, i.e., TSIO-520-UB MP.
