Installation of Raytheon AN/ARC-231 Secure Communication System in accordance with American Eurocopter LLC Drawing List 145A82-8011 Revision F, dated 18 Sept 2009, Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement 117FMS-229, Revision -, dated 02 Nov 2009, or later DAS approved revisions, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness 145MMS-011, Revision -, dated 16 Sep 2009 or later FAA AEG accepted revision.

1. The installation of the Raytheon AN/ARC-231 Secure Communication System is for Military Use Only."

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. Configurations B859U 0 000 051 Item 10 (B859U 0 001 051) and Item 20 (B859U 0 002 051) are installed for receive functions only, activation of transmit functions is prohibited.

'If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission."
