1. Installation of the Heli-Utility-Basket must be in accordance with Dart Aerospace Installation Instructions IIN-D505-1090, Revision A, dated April 24, 2023, or later Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approved revision.

2. Maintenance must be in accordance with Dart Aerospace Instructions for Continued Airworthiness ICA-D505-1090, Revision 0, dated September 6, 2023, or later TCCA accepted revision.

1. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. Operation must be in accordance with Dart Aerospace Flight Manual Supplement FMS-D505-1090, Revision A, TCCA approved September 20, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

4. Definition of the Type Design Change is found in Dart Aerospace Master Document List MDL-D505-1090, Revision B, TCCA approved September 8, 2023, or later TCCA approved revision.

2. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for this Make-Model.

Certification Basis:

Based on title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for design changes that are identified as not significant in FAA Order 8110.48, the type certification basis for the modified Bell Textron Canada Limited 505 is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Bell Textron Canada Limited 505 as shown on Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) R00008RD for parts not changed or not affected by the change.
