(Bell) Model: UH-1H, Restricted Category Only Description of Type Design Change: Installation of Simplex Manufacturing Company Model 7300 spray tank system in accordance with Simplex 7300 Parts List, Revision "B", dated April 13, 1987, and Idaho Helicopters Installation Instructions No. IH9601-1, dated April 17, 1996.

Limitations and Conditions: Data pertaining to this modification are considered inadequate for duplication in other aircraft. This approval for change in type design is limited to Western International Aviation (Bell), Serial Numbers 65-09847, 73-21715, and 74-22351 only. This modification requires the installation of an FAA approved high skid gear system. The modified aircraft must be operated in accordance with the appropriate Simplex Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) dated April 9, 1997 (S/N 65-09847), May 20, 1998 (S/N 73-21715), or August 12, 1997 (S/N 74-22351), or later FAA approved revision. A copy of this Certificate and the appropriate FAA Approved RFMS shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.
