Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication of tail boom mounted strakes in accordance with Master Drawing List Number BL-UH1H-01, Revision D, dated September 10, 2001, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved revision; and installation of this strake system in accordance with Installation Drawing List Number BL-UH1H-02, Revision D, dated September 10, 2001, or later FAA-approved revision, and Installation Manual Number BH200INS, Revision D, dated September 10, 2001, or later FAA-approved revision. Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the rotorcraft models specified on AML Number SR00929SE only, that are equipped with standard tail booms and empennages fabricated with aluminum skins, only. This approval should not be extended to other rotorcraft of these models on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer, that the relationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that rotorcraft. Rotorcraft modified by this STC must be operated in accordance with a FAA-approved copy of one of the following BLR Operator’s Manual Supplements (OMS) listed below, or later FAA-approved revision.
