Description of the Type Design Change: Fabrication of Part Number PH774664-113 “Transmission Input shaft Spacer: and PH774682-11 “Flange coupling Transmission Adapter” in accordance with Precision Helicopters, LLC Master Drawing List PH-200, Revision 1, dated May 2, 2005 or later FAA approved revision; and installation of the KAflex Driveshaft System in accordance with Precision Helicopters, LLC Installation Instructions, Revision 1, dated May 12, 2005, or later FAA approved revision. This modification must be maintained in accordance with Precision Helicopters, LLC Instructions for Continued Airworthiness KAflex Driveshaft System, document number PH-205, Revision N.C., dated December 19, 2003, or later FAA approved revision.

Limitations and Conditions: Approval of this change in type design applies to the Model HH-43B/F and HH-43F rotocraft only. This approval should not be extended to other rotocraft of this model on which other previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined that the relationship between this change and any other previously approved modifications, including changes in type design, will introduce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that helicopter.

If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.
