1) Effectivity for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations is for the following UH-60A serial numbers only: 80-23439 & 80-23455.

2) Compatibility of this design change with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.

SR01944WI Limitations and Conditions (continued):

3) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission.

4) Approval of this change in type design applies to the model of aircraft shown on the AML, 3S20-014-1801.

5) A copy of this certificate, the ICA, and the RFMS shall be maintained as part of the permanent records for the modified aircraft.

6) A Flight Standardization Board (FSB) Evaluation must be conducted by the Rotorcraft and Powered Lift Aircraft Evaluation Group (AEG), on each Restricted Category Type Certificate Holder’s model, modified by this STC. This STC constitutes a major change in the configuration of the original TC Holder's model requiring an FSB to determine the Type Rating, Training, and Checking Requirements prior to modified aircraft entering operational service, unless a type rating has been previously issued for the specific TC Holder and model incorporating this STC.

Based on 14 CFR 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for this change is as follows:
