Replacement of existing OEM supplied Cargo Hook with the Installation of Indraéro Siren IS10-100 Cargo Hook per MDL No.ADC17, Issue 2 and approved on September 07, 2011 or later EASA approved revisions. The following document is required with this installation:

• Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Doc. No. JN167 ADC54-27, Issue 5 and dated July 30, 2013, or later EASA accepted revisions.

Limitations and Condi tions :

1. This STC provides an installation approval of the Indraéro Siren IS10-100 Cargo Hook from Aerospace Design and Certification, Ltd on the AS350 (B, BA, B1, B2, B3 and D) rotorcraft models. It does not provide an approval of the types of operations to be used with this device which will require separate operational approvals.

This certificate and the supporting data which is the basis for appr oval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the A dministrator of the F ederal A viation A dministration.

2. The Indraéro Siren IS10-100 Cargo Hook is not certified to be installed on AS350B3 models equipped with Turbomeca Arriel 2D engines per factory modification OP-4305.

3. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

4. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use the certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

Certification B asis :

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101 and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the changed Eurocopter France AS350 (B, BA, B1, B2, B3 and D) series rotorcraft as described in this certificate is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for Eurocopter AS350 (B, BA, B1, B2, B3 and D) series rotorcraft is shown on TCDS H9EU (Rev.18) for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, February 13, 2012, is as shown on TCDS H9EU (Rev.18).
