3. This STC is applicable to all serial numbers for the Make: Leonardo S.p.a., Models:

AB139 and AW139.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for all of the eligible aircraft models is as follows:

(1) The type certification basis for Make: Leonardo S.p.a., Models: AB139 and AW139 aircrafts are shown on TCDS R00002RD for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

(2) The certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application 12/17/2020, is based upon Part 29 as amended by Amendment 29-45 with the exception of those above amendment 29-45 listed below.
