1. Remove Flight Data Recorder Fairchild P/N 17M900-274 and install Fairchild Solid State Digital Flight Recorder, P/N S703-1000-00, in accordance with USAir Drawing No. 9X3115109, dated October 27, 1993 for F.28 Mark 4000.

2. Remove Flight Data Recorder Fairchild P/N 17M900-274 and install Fairchild Solid State Digital Flight Recorder, P/N S703-1000-00, in accordance with USAir Drawing No. 9X3115109 Rev. A, dated January 7, 1994 for F.28 Mark 1000.

3. The "Ongoing Airworthiness Plan for Expanded Parameter Solid State Flight Data Recorder (SSFDR)", Engineering Report No. 02-06-93, dated June 29, 1993, for F.28 MK 4000 and 07-12-93, dated December 6, 1993 for F.28 MK 1000 are needed for these modifications.

1. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.
